Business Continuation Service

The nature of Revelation based applications often results in systems that outlive their authors.  This leaves end users with potential headaches in maintaining their legacy systems, or huge replacement bills immediately that their author is no longer around to provide those necessary service. 

Not only can this be financially costly, but business leaders find themselves with the unenviable task of replacing a mission critical system that has evolved with and enhances the business. Often this is with a commercial system as a quick fix that requires re-moulding business processes to fit that solution.

Traditional escrow agreements have been designed to address this potential issue.  However, they are usually costly and, while they do provide licensees with a route to their applications source code in times of crisis, these agreements do not cater for the ongoing maintenance and ownership costs associated with the source code.  After all, what is the use of owning an 18-wheel truck without someone with the skills to drive it.
