OpenInsight allows your applications to go cross-platform between Linux and Windows or back. It is also easier than ever build your application on the platform of your choice and deploy it without changes to the other. Currently, OpenInsight for Linux (OIL) runs on the following Linux platforms:
RedHat | Suse | Fedora | Linspire | Others |
| 9.0 | 10.0 | Core 4 | 5.0 | Debian 'Sarge' |
| 8.0 | 9.1 | Core 3 | 4.5 | Knoppix |
| Enterprise 4 | 9.0 | Core 2 | | Xandros Business 3.0 |
| Enterprise 3 | | Core 1 | | Xandros Business 2.5 |
| | | | | Mandriva |
Due to the prolific number of distributions currently available, we have not tested them all - but if you do not see your distribution here and it runs .deb or .rpm packages, there is a good chance we will run on it.
We officially support the KDE Desktop.
